In the early 80′s, Northwestern Polytechnic University was founded to provide advanced technical training in emerging fields. The school has been a trailblazer in the science and technology industry since its inception.
Now, Northwestern Polytechnic is celebrating its 37th year of higher education.
“It’s a privilege to lead this institution into its fourth decade of service,” said Dr. Hamid Panah, Northwestern Polytechnic’s Student Body Director, in a recent interview with the school newspaper. “This institution is characterized by continuity and growth along two fronts:
(1) the improvement of the academic program offerings; and
(2) expanding our global footprint. We aspire to become a global polytechnic university.”
NPU currently has a student population of over 5000 students from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide. NPU offers Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctorate degrees in science, technology, and management to on-campus and online students.
“The institution has been recognized as a top-tier institution by the U.S. News and World Report for three consecutive years,” said Hamid.
The school has also received the Technical Higher Education Association’s Outstanding Institutional Award in 2009, 2010, and 2014, recognizing them as one of the top 100 institutions in the nation.
“I’m very grateful to everyone who was involved over the past 37 years,” said Hamid. “We are committed to the institution’s continuing growth in order to improve its academic offerings for future students.”
Northwestern Polytechnic University is one among a small group of polytechnic universities in the United States which tend to be primarily devoted to the instruction of technical arts and applied sciences.
“As the need for tech education grows, the institution takes pride in being able to provide quality education,” said Hamid. “We are proud of our 37 years of service, and we embrace a bright future.”
“Our graduates have been very successful…we attribute this to our cutting edge technology and most importantly, our faculty.”
